Fees

Every trade pays the Orca pool's 2% fee and nothing else: 1% to the platform, 0.74% to the coin's fee mode and 0.26% to Orca. The same on every coin, from its first trade, before and after graduation.

  • The fee is charged on buys and on sells, in what the trader puts in: a buy pays it in the pair currency (SOL, or the stock on a stock pair), a sell pays it in the coin.
  • Orca takes its 13% of the fee in the swap. The rest, 1.74% of the trade, builds up in the coin’s locked position, and rocapad’s keeper splits it: 100/174 to the platform, 74/174 to the fee mode.
  • The platform’s 1% is its whole take: nothing is paid out of it. Every reward a coin pays (buybacks, holder rewards, the creator’s earnings) comes out of the fee mode’s 0.74%.
  • There is no launch fee, no sniper tax and no fee for graduating. Launching costs only the rent of the new accounts (Getting started).
  • The Telegram bot adds its own 1% on trades made through it.

Fees build up inside the position until someone collects them, and only the position’s owner, the platform wallet, can. rocapad’s keeper collects each coin’s fees every few minutes once they are worth it, keeps the platform’s share and sends the fee mode’s share where the mode says: to the creator, into buybacks, or to holders (Fee modes). Nobody claims anything by hand.

The coin part of the fees (from sells) follows the same split. The platform sells its coins back into the pool for SOL, at most 1% of price impact a run; the fee mode’s coins are burned, sent to the creator, or sold for the rewards pot. Every keeper transaction is labelled on chain, and each coin’s page shows what was collected, paid and still owed. Between collection and payout the fees are held by the platform wallet: see Safety and risks.

Orca sets the pool fee

The 2% fee and Orca’s 13% share are Orca’s settings for the pool’s fee tier, not rocapad’s. Orca can change them on any pool (up to 6% fee and a 25% share). Trade quotes always read the pool’s own current rate, so what you see before you sign is what the pool charges.

Dev buy

A creator can buy their own coin right after launching it: an ordinary buy in the new pool, sent from the same wallet just after the second launch transaction, at the launch price and the normal fee. There is no cap. Other wallets can buy in the same moments, so each coin’s page shows “bought at launch”: every buy in the first few blocks after the launch, counted by rocapad’s indexer.

What a buy pays

Pick a coin (SOL pairs) or a new one, type an amount of SOL, and read what the pool gives back and where the fee goes. It uses the same pool maths as the trade panel, against the coin’s live pool; nothing is signed.
