Graduation
A coin graduates when 85 SOL sits in its locked position (on a SOL pair). It is a milestone, not a move: the coin was on Orca from its first block, and its pool, its position and its fees stay exactly as they were.
The milestone
Buys put SOL into the coin’s position and sells take it out. When the SOL the position holds first reaches 85 SOL, rocapad’s indexer marks the coin graduated, records the swap that did it, and the coin keeps that label even if sells later bring the figure back down. Coin pages show how far a coin is from it; the terminal and the token lists sort by it.
Nobody has to trigger anything and nothing is paid for it: no transaction, no keeper, no rent. On a stock pair the milestone is set per stock, in the stock (Pairs), and each coin keeps the milestone it launched with.
Locked from the launch
| Coins | 1,000,000,000, the whole supply |
|---|---|
| Range | From the launch price up to Orca's highest price |
| Lock | Permanent, Orca's own position lock |
| Owner | The platform wallet |
| When | In the launch's second transaction |
Nobody can withdraw the liquidity: not the creator, not rocapad. The supply never waits anywhere else first, so there is nothing to move and nothing to lock later. See How the pool works.
Before and after
Nothing changes for traders or for the coin’s earnings. Every trade, before and after the milestone, pays the pool’s 2% fee on mainnet: 1% to the platform, 0.74% to the coin’s fee mode and 0.26% to Orca (Fees).
